Minecraft & Roblox Club transforms gaming into a collaborative, creative, and problem-solving experience.

Each session challenges students to work together as teams to complete missions, solve engineering and design problems, build shared worlds, and tackle structured challenges. Students learn that success depends on communication, planning, creativity, and teamwork—not simply individual skill.

Participants explore both Minecraft and Roblox through carefully designed activities that encourage cooperation, strategic thinking, leadership, and digital citizenship. Some challenges focus on creative construction, others on survival, resource management, competition, exploration, or game systems. Along the way, students discover how the mechanics behind these platforms influence gameplay, design, and problem-solving.

Because every session introduces new goals, constraints, and challenges, returning students continue to grow as collaborators and creators. New students can immediately contribute to team projects, while experienced participants often take on leadership roles, help organize larger builds, and tackle increasingly complex challenges.

All activity takes place in a supervised environment using private servers and structured challenges designed specifically for SPARKGROUNDS students.

Classes meet every other week, giving students time to think about strategies, develop ideas, and return ready for the next challenge. For a full Monday experience, pair Minecraft & Roblox Club with our Robotics Workshop and keep your child building, creating, and solving problems every week.

Fall 2026 Challenges

• Week 1: Team Survival Challenge — Establish a base, gather resources, and work together to overcome early obstacles
• Week 2: Cooperative Mission — Complete a large-scale objective by dividing responsibilities and coordinating efforts
• Week 3: Systems & Logic — Explore Redstone, automation, and the mechanics that make game systems work
• Week 4: Build-Off Challenge — Design and construct creative solutions under time and resource constraints
• Weeks 5–6: World Design Studio — Create, test, refine, and share custom environments and experiences
• Week 7: Strategy Lab — Analyze challenges, optimize solutions, and improve team performance
• Weeks 8–9: Championship Challenge — Compete in a multi-stage team event combining building, problem-solving, creativity, and collaboration

Guardians are required to complete our waiver before the first club meeting--if they haven't already done so for a different SPARKGROUNDS event. All events are led by professionally trained and insured staff who have passed a Level 2 background check. Students can withdraw from a class series at any time simply by emailing us and prorated refunds are always provided automatically.
