Each month, your little learner will receive a special box in the mail—addressed just to them! Inside, you’ll find everything needed for jhands-on exploration of science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM), thoughtfully designed for curious minds ages 3 through Kindergarten.

Rooted in hundreds of hours of classroom experience, we know that the best learning for young children happens through play, creativity, and collaboration. That’s why every kit blends early STEM concepts with art-based activities—because when little hands are building, painting, sorting, and imagining, real learning sticks.

With your support (or help from an older sibling), children will explore simple circuits, build playful machines, mix colorful chemistry, and create beautiful, functional designs. Grown-ups are an essential part of this experience—reading aloud the short instructions, guiding hands, and joining in the fun.

Does my purchase automatically renew? No. You will receive the number of boxes that you purchase. We don't store or rebill your credit card automatically. If you purchase less than twelve months of service, you'll have the option to purchase additional boxes once your subscription ends.

What if the kits are too easy or too hard for my child? We offer kits at a variety of levels. Contact us to apply your unused subscription fees to a different level sequence. And know that you and your child can always reach out to us for help or with any questions.

How long should it take for my child to complete each box? Completion times vary widely based on a child's experience and knowledge. We design the kits to take several hours across several days, and every kit includes challenges and additional materials designed for continued exploration.

What if my child doesn't like the kits? Can I get a refund? We want your child to enjoy the kits. Should they not, you can either apply unused subscription fees to a different sequence or receive a prorated refund for kits that have not already shipped.

Can I purchase a specific kit out of sequence? Because our kits are offered as part of a designed sequence that builds on previously-established knowledge, we do not sell individual kits out of sequence.

Do I need any materials other than what is included in the kits? No (with the exception of water). The kits provide everything needed to complete each project.

Can I purchase classes through Florida's STEP UP scholarship program? Yes! All SPARKGROUNDS kit-based classes, clubs, and events are available through the Marketplace for both FES-EO and PEP. Find our kit-based classes in the Marketplace by selecting "find providers" and searching for "SPARKGROUNDS."
