Chain Reaction Challenge: Build a Rube Goldberg Machine!
Get ready for a two-hour, hands-on engineering adventure where imagination meets motion! This special SPARKGROUNDS event takes place on January 31 from 10:30am to 12:30pm at Celebration's Heritage Hall. Students will design and build their own Rube Goldberg machines—incredible contraptions that perform a simple task through a wildly creative chain reaction of levers, pulleys, dominoes, ramps, and more.
And don’t worry—we’ve got lunch covered to keep their engines running!
All materials and lunch are included. No prior experience needed. This workshop is designed for 3rd through 12th graders. Guardians are required to complete our waiver before the event.
In-Person Events do require a minimum number of participants. Should that minimum not be reached, the event will be canceled and all registration fees refunded. All events are led by professionally trained and insured staff who have passed a Level 2 background check.
