See Color Differently. Paint Like a Pro. Create Something Amazing!

The Points of Color Kit transforms the timeless technique of pointillism into a hands-on, kid-friendly art adventure. Through guided activities, students learn how thousands of tiny dots—just like the pixels on a screen or the ink points in a printed image—combine to form vibrant, eye-catching pictures.

Kids begin with simple color and dot exercises, learning how primary colors blend visually and how artists use spacing, layering, and pattern to create depth and motion. Along the way, they experiment with techniques inspired by Georges Seurat and other masters of color and light.

As their confidence grows, they move on to designing and painting a pointillism piece on a real canvas, mixing their own colors and applying thousands of dots to bring their final artwork to life. Whether they choose abstract patterns or detailed landscapes, each creation is entirely their own.

Perfect for weekend projects, homeschool enrichment, or family art time, each activity takes about 2–3 hours and offers plenty of room for creativity. Recommended for ages 8–16, the kit includes enough paint, brushes, tools, and materials for continued practice long after the main projects are complete—so young artists can keep experimenting with color, texture, and technique.

Parents love that this kit goes beyond art--it connects creativity with science, helping kids understand how color perception works and how images come together in both classic paintings and modern technology. Children walk away with a deeper appreciation of how artists create illusions of shape, light, and movement—plus a one-of-a-kind canvas they’ll be excited to show off.
