3D Printing Workshop

Participants will dive into the exciting world of 3D modeling and CAD programming. With guidance from our staff, students will design everything from fantastical dragons and unicorns to practical tools like custom phone stands and organizers. Beginning in TinkerCAD and moving into professional Shapr3D software (based on individual interest, previous experience, and abilities), kids will learn step by step how to design, prototype, and print their very own projects--and the learning builds even if students have already taken 3D Printing with SPARKGROUNDS.

Through bi-weekly meetings held throughout the semester, students will create a collection of personalized 3D-printed projects while building the practical skills and confidence needed to operate a real 3D printer—an increasingly essential tool in today’s tech landscape. The price includes all 3D printed models and filament.

Guardians are required to complete our waiver before the first club meeting--if they haven't already done so for a different SPARKGROUNDS event. All events are led by professionally trained and insured staff who have passed a Level 2 background check. Students can withdraw from a class series at any time simply by emailing us and prorated refunds are always provided automatically.
